Before, and Spring War
Before Spring War I finished my time as Politarchopolis baronial marshal and did a comprehensive handover with Clifford Aschburner (Joe). I had attended the office for 30 months, and armoured combat grew a little in the time despite plague, and there were no major and almost no minor injuries of safety breaches. Clifford was delayed by other events, and thanked my with a box of chocolates, I will try and pay forward this kindness when I next get a quality handover!
I have been advising and educating many, many people on armour, and performing small commissions to ensure more people can safely and economically enjoy armoured combat.
Spring War
I fought the tournament and the afternoon of war and performed my duty as a knight, taking part and observing our combatants. There was much to be seen, and much skill from many newer faces. It was a joy to behold.
Sunday morning I felt fuzzy in the head, as I did when I had the plague, so I decide not to push harder than that after a very active day. I noticed Baron Saint Florian unable to take the field due to armour failure, so I offered a cloth lendenier I had made, as his had broken on the field. He said it sat lower than his normal one but it did the job admirable and he took the field for the Sunday afternoon sessions.
Mistress Joie and I have put forward our nomination to become Politarchopolis Baron and Baroness, so I sought the counsel of those who had done the job before.
After lunch I volunteered to help in the kitchen, so I lifted and carried and then kneaded dough, and that evening I cooked the dough on the hotplate for the assembled populace. I did this under the capable instruction of Isolde of Mordenvale.
